Joss Ash - British Surfing Champion
Last month Adrian travelled extensively throughout the UK working with the Army on their recruitment campaign. In between shoots in New York and Cape Town Adrian has been working on his personal sports portraits.
Featured here is Joss Ash, one of Britain's leading surfers shot on Cornwall's north coast.
Adrian spent the day with Joss waiting for the low-lying cloud to lift, typical of course of the English summer. At last the weather broke at about 4pm and they were able to shoot a series of portraits. Adrian's aim was to shoot Joss surrounded by breaking waves. With much wave dodging and Sam, Adrian's assistant, holding Adrian's Ranger lighting packs over her head, in the water, they got there in the end.
The only person to stay dry was Joss!
