Adrian was recently commissioned by Camouflage magazine for a feature on the Close protection Unit of the Royal Military Police. The art director for the shoot was John Butterworth from Haymarket publishing who had a clear idea as to how he wanted the shoot to look. Initially he sent through some mock-ups, which had a clear filmic feel about them some where between Men in Black and Ronin. We spent a while researching stills from movies and then at the start of the day we discussed our ideas with the CPU as we wanted the images to be as real as possible in terms of operational authenticity.

Of course the summer weather played a huge part in this shoot as we were outside on I think the wettest day of the month!!!! It rained continually all day, which caused chaos with the lighting and of course the cameras not to mention the models/soldiers. We persevered and ended up shooting several different scenarios from a woodland road ambush to a simulated desert attack. The soldiers were fantastic and did not complain once even when they were wet through and cold. They also had some very cool guns definitely not to be messed with!!!
