Quick Slick Snow
The first of six fashion stories for Daily Mail's Ski & Snowboard Magazine. Quick Slick Snow was shot on the frozen lake of Aré in Sweden.
This was one of the more exciting stories that we shot as it involved whizzing around on Skidoos all day!

"I wanted with the opening shot to get an image that depicted speed and fun with an element of dynamism to it. The only way I could see to do that was to be moving with the models so as to get the snow flying and wind in their hair/clothes." In order to do that we rigged two Skidoos with two flash heads each and one Elinchrom Ranger Power pack.

"This then allowed me to shoot from the back of one Skidoo while the other Skidoo acted as a mobile lighting unit."

"It took us a couple of runs to get the timing and positions right but we got there and it all seemed to click into place." For the remainder of the story we wanted to mix some static shots with some more action and as you can see we ended the day trying to get as much air time out of the skidoos as possible!
"This was definitely the most fun i've had shooting for a while!"
