]]> We flew to Edinburgh in December 2010 to photograph Erwan le Corre. At that time Scotland was under a heavy blanket of snow but that didn't prevent him arriving in shorts and flip flops having walked from the centre of Edinburgh to the studio on the outskirts.

Adrian had a couple of hours to shoot the cover and inside feature before making a hasty retreat to the airport before the continuing snow shut down the Scottish transport system for days to follow.

As with most athletes the time you are able to photograph them is always fairly limited. F1 take that to another level however as time is at a premium so it is rare to have more than about 10 minutes. This was the quickest session I think I have ever had with an individual driver : a whole 180 seconds! I wont say who - see if you can guess!

I was also very lucky to photograph Robert Kubica just 3 days before his horrendous rally car accident. A nicer sportsman you could not wish to meet and we wish him all the best in his recovery. I hope to see him racing again in F1 before long.
